Bespoke New Homes & Self-Builds
Designing a Home that's completely your own
Building your own home is a unique opportunity to create somewhere genuinely designed around you, your site and the way you want to live.
At JNC Architecture, we design bespoke new homes across Kent and the South East, exploring the possibilities of each site to create individual, considered and buildable homes.
From an individual building plot or infill site to a replacement dwelling, we can guide you from the earliest ideas and 3D design through planning, technical design and construction.
GREYSTONES
Greystones is a bespoke new-build family home in Kent, designed by JNC Architecture from the ground up. Working closely with our clients, we explored a number of design options in 3D before developing the preferred concept around their site, lifestyle and aspirations.
The design follows a simple architectural form, complemented by a single-storey projection and a restrained palette of timber, off-white render and stone, chosen to respond to the surrounding area. Generous glazing and carefully considered overhangs balance natural light with solar shading, while green roofs, solar panels and a wider renewable energy strategy have been incorporated from the outset.
The project was developed through pre-application discussions with Tonbridge & Malling Borough Council, with JNC Architecture coordinating the wider consultant team, including landscape and ecology specialists, and managing the planning application through to approval.
With planning permission now secured, we are continuing to work with our clients through Technical Design, developing the construction strategy, coordinating the wider design team and progressing the planning conditions.
